Ten employees from Internal Audit did more than assist shelter animals this month at a volunteer event held at Akron’s One of A Kind Pet Rescue – they stepped up to rehouse two pets in need of good homes.

While onsite, our volunteers assisted with cleaning pet areas, doing laundry and preparing adoption bags for the shelter. In a heartwarming outcome, two employees even decided to adopt pets after the event – giving one cat and one dog their forever homes and further deepening the impact of the team’s visit.
