FirstEnergy Welcomes Brooke Trammell as VP, Transmission Strategy & Engagement

FirstEnergy today announced that Brooke Trammell has been appointed as Vice President, Transmission Strategy & Engagement. She will report to Mark Mroczynski, President, Transmission.

In her new role, Brooke will oversee strategic planning, policy advocacy and strategic ventures to expand our transmission portfolio. She will lead engagement with PJM and other regional transmission organizations, manage partnerships such as Valley Link Transmission and Grid Assurance LLC, and drive initiatives that align with our long-term strategic goals.

She joins FirstEnergy from Xcel Energy, where she served as Regional Vice President of Regulatory & Pricing for Southwestern Public Service Company. In this role, she led the development of cross-jurisdictional regulatory strategies, secured multi-state approvals for large-scale infrastructure proposals, and advanced policy reforms to improve financial performance and reduce investment risk.

Brooke holds a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University, a Master of Arts in Economics with a focus on Public Utility Regulation, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from New Mexico State University.

Brooke joins FirstEnergy on September 8.
