Safety Milestones at JCP&L

Employees in the following JCP&L work groups recently celebrated safety milestones:

  • Cookstown – Fourteen employees in the Lines group celebrated 16 years without an OSHA recordable and five years without a CMVA.
  • Summit – The Lines group’s 44 employees achieved six years of OSHA-free work and have driven two years without a CMVA.
  • Dover/Morristown – Fourteen employees in Fleet Services have driven six years without a CMVA
  • Phillipsburg – Meter Services has worked five years without an OSHA recordable. There are eight employees in the group.
  • Central New Jersey – Seventeen employees in the Relay/Test group achieved four years without an OSHA recordable and two years without a CMVA. The Mobile Construction group’s nine employees have driven five years without a CMVA.
  • Hopatcong – Meter Reading achieved three years without an OSHA recordable and four years without a CMVA. There are 11 employees in the group.
  • North New Jersey – Twelve employees in the Fleet Services remote reporting night crew have driven three years without a CMVA.
  • Flemington – Meter Reading achieved two years of OSHA-free work. There are 11 employees in the group.
  • Forestry – The group’s 11 employees have worked one year without an OSHA recordable.
  • Dover – The Lines group’s 47 employees achieved one year without an OSHA recordable.
  • Berkeley – Forty-four employees in the Lines group celebrated one year of OSHA-free work.
  • Morristown – The Cable group’s 14 employees have driven one year without a CMVA.

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
