​Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) honored the Lines group at the Flemington Service Center for reaching five years of OSHA-free work. There are 34 employees in the Flemington group.

“Achieving five years without an OSHA recordable requires a daily focus – from following safe work practices to mitigating exposure to wearing the required personal protective equipment,” said Abe Amawi, acting general manager, Regional Operations Services. “We commend our Flemington Lines employees for their commitment to staying safe.”

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
