Safe Driving Honors for Augusta Lines Group
October 22, 2019
Employees in Potomac Edison’s Augusta Lines group recently received the Directors’ Safe Driving Excellence Award for surpassing more than 2.2 million miles without a chargeable motor vehicle accident (CMVA). The 23 employees in the group include line workers, troublemen, designers and supervisors.
“The Potomac Edison leadership team commends these employees for their commitment to staying safe on the road,” said Don McGettigan, director, Operations Services. “When you consider the many challenges our field workers face when traveling to various job sites – including distracted drivers, construction zones and winter weather – driving more than six years without a CMVA is an outstanding accomplishment.”
