Highlighting Safety in New Jersey

Employees in the following JCP&L work groups recently celebrated safety milestones:

  • Morristown – The Cable group’s 14 employees achieved eight years without an OSHA-recordable incident.
  • Northern New Jersey – Fifteen employees in the Relay group have driven seven years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
  • Point Pleasant – The Lines group achieved seven years without a CMVA. There are 25 employees in the group.
  • Central New Jersey – Nine employees in the Mobile Construction group were recognized for working six years OSHA free.
  • Farmingdale – Transmission Construction & Maintenance celebrated two years without an OSHA recordable. There are 30 employees in the group.
  • Freehold – Thirty-six employees in the Lines group marked two years without an OSHA recordable.
  • Wall – Utility Construction & Maintenance has driven two years without a CMVA. The group is comprised of 14 employees.
  • Dover – Forty-seven employees in the Lines group achieved two years without a CMVA.

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
